Legal Status of Janakalyan
· Janakalyan is a voluntary developmental organization registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 and is renewed up to the current financial year
· Janakalyan is registered under section 12A and 80G of Income Tax Act, 1961 and thus exempted from tax for all its income and the donors are also eligible for exemption up to 50% of the donated amount.
· Janakalyan is registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 and thus eligible to receive foreign contributions for all developmental activities, especially for child, women and peasant communities of rural India.
