Governance of Janakalyan

Janakalyan being a voluntary organization registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960 and thus governed by the said act. However, as per the provision of the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960, Janakalyan has a general body to manage the organization and its programs. A 7-member governing board constituted amongst the general body members draws the powers to manage the affairs of the organization. The President, Vice-president and Secretary are the office bearers of the Governing Board with Executive Director as an ex-officio member on the board to manage the day-to-day activities of the organization.
